The Last Supper reloaded - Commercials

You've seen Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, right?
I don't know if the author was really as fascinated by Leonardo's art and achievements as the book may indicate or it was just a business choice (Leonardo was certainly an intriguing man), but he made a good choice. At least judging by the publicity he got.

One of the keynotes of the book was the thread of Mary Magdalene, backed up by the analysis of "The Last Supper" painting by Leonardo. Dan made some very far-reaching conclusions from that analysis. But I don't care.  This little story is not supposed to be about Dan and his conspiracy theory.

It would be naive to think that Dan B. was the one and only who made money and/or publicity on Leon's masterpiece. The collection below shows some of a bit less orthodox interpretations of "The Last Supper".

Have fun!

1. The Lust Super

This one is actually my personal favorite. I think an appropriate name would be "The Lust Super (Duper)", but it is for you to judge :)
The main character from Leonardo's work seems missing, but... Well, whoever remained is cool enough.

2. The Fast Supper

Very unorthodox. No comments.
Or one, perhaps. I just wonder who the crescent guy to the right may actually be? In the original picture Simon sat there (is that why the guy wears black?!)...
On the other hand, I should reconsider if it makes much sense to analyze this uhm...
fine asterpiece.

Below - yet another version of above. The crescent guy missing this time. Strange. Went for a Whooper perhaps?

3. The Last Poker

Another advertisment, with some misdatings I believe. Although it might be that a sort of poker was known to the ancients (according to this site poker originates in an old Persian game of "as nas"), but the surveilance cams?!

4. The Crust Supper

It's unbelievable what you can do if you have a box of crusty cookies, digital camera and a few hours of free time. Great picture, by the way.

5. The Past Supper

Mess (not holy at all) is all that remains. Note Colonel Snaders in the very middle. Quite an elevation I would say.

6. The Star Supper

This is plain blasphemy! Chewbacca would never ever allow Darth Vader raise his hand in Han Solo's company!
Did I already say never?

7. The Last Sipper

This is what happens if there is no more beer around.

8. The Glass Supper

Made in China. As everything else nowadays.
Leonardo probably turns in his grave...

9. The Last Sapper

I believe the guy wearing that tatoo is a sapper. He deals with bombs. A little divine help does matter in his case.

10. The Last Supper 10030

No comments. Quite impressive chef-d'oeuvre...

11. The Post-Supper

This one may be quite accurate I believe, especially for these that eat a lot of e.g. garlic and have hot-tempered roommates:
"If you don't take one of these, that supper you had might have been the last".

12. The Last Snapper

This is actually a blood-chilling picture (in it's all brevity). It is a material evidence of a murder, which says:
"Two of you will die after this supper. Only 11 must remain in the team."
(I'm dazzingly intelligent, am I not? Certainly smarter than Adrian Monk.)

13. The Last (Photo)shopper

That is no miracle, only some above-average photoshop skills.
At least I think so...
And if not? Spooky!

14. The Last Supper

A perfect name. I would kill anyone who committed this abomination!
Cyanide would be appropriate.

The crescent-headed fellow

The crescent-headed fellow in the McDonalds spoof of the Last Supper was one of their mid-late 80's mascots. He was a piano playing lounge-singer type of guy. The tune that is to this day stuck in my head is as follows:

When the clock strikes
Half past six babe
It's time to head for
Golden light
It's a good timeF
or the great taste
At Mcdonald's
It's Mac Tonight!

- If memory serves, this was to the tune of Mack the Knife.

The crescent guy in #2 is

The crescent guy in #2 is from commercials in the early 90s, I think. He'd cruise around in the sky in an older-looking car, praising the fact that McDonald's was open late... or something.

The crescent moon is Mac

The crescent moon is Mac Tonight. He was a short lived commercial introduced in the early 80's to advertise Macdonald's staying open late. I remember him playing a piano and singing a "Mac Tonight" Sinatra-style song.

His name is Blue Moon, I

His name is Blue Moon, I believe.

Crescent moon recently

Crescent moon recently appears in McD's billboard, advertising all McD's outlets at my place now opens 24/7
